Re: Web interface

I can't see why iris wouldn't work here! I've decided to restart my am system purely for monitoring of the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms in the home. Anyone wanna throw some freebie devices at me lol

The New Dashboard that never was!

Just logged into my dashboard for the first time in a good long while. Its still the old one. Another empty promise from these muppets. I could kick myself for buying into the system, and thank God i didnt opt for the subs model!

Re: Going back to original security system!

I've been in contact with pilgrim about all this. What I was told is pretty much what we already knew - bear with us/stuff is coming etc etc

Re: Going back to original security system!

that post also pretty much confirms no new devices too as it only mentions existing ones are available in the online shop. and it's not a trial, it's available openly on the Internet! either BG have done this behind AM's back or AM are feeding us more lies

Re: Going back to original security system!

I reckon that stuff on the BG website should work the same on our systems. Theres no reason why not that i can see, its made by alertme. I'm tempted to ask AM. Not that im particularly bothered now, they've had their chance, and managed to prove to me how much of a valued customer I am to them.

Re: Going back to original security system!

reading into that more, i'm actually even more pissed off now. It seems alertme have been slyly working behind the scenes. There are now decoy external sirens, sound repeaters, water leak detectors, gas detectors, and co detectors! Well, we have been well and truly mugged off havent we!

Re: Going back to original security system!

non-repeating smart plugs, which should have been a simple thing. Just dont put in the signal booster element during manufacture, and sell slightly cheaper. An easy win, or could have been! The ability to turn on smartplugs with buttons was another. I also distinctly remember them saying that extern...

Re: Going back to original security system!

lack of additional features on the security side, specifically the audio repeaters and also a few features from the energy side like buttons to operate smartplugs, non repeating smart plugs, timer functionality. I believe that AlertMe will be completely absorbed into British Gas at some point too. N...

Re: Going back to original security system!

what was the old alarm you ripped out. with regards to my alertmes future. for the moment, is still connected. I may leave it that way for the4 alarm detectors, and the security light feature. the security side of it is worthless to me!

Going back to original security system!

Well, I dont need to explain to you lot how bad things have gotten with AM, and all the empty promises, etc etc, so am going back to my previous security system. Just awaiting the install of a replacement bellbox as the current one is knackered. I actually forgot how much safer at night I feel when ...

Re: Welcome to the AlertMe Users' Forum!

Ahhh! Thats better! much nicer forum software! Funny thing about there being no support from alertme staff - there wasnt any on the official forum either lol
